Venice - Day 3

Day 3 - Capturing Canals and Culture: New Bridge College and H-Farm Students Frame Venice in Action 

Yesterday evening, after a full day of sunshine and productivity (and swimming for some), we settled in for a well earned evening meal at Ristorante Allo Sperone. Students tucked into an impressive spread, including freshly baked Italian bread, crisp salads, classic spaghetti, grilled chicken, tender cuts of meat and, of course, a colourful selection of pizzas. 

For those with a sweet tooth, dessert was a highlight. Vibrant ice creams in every colour of the rainbow, the perfect finishing touch to a memorable day in Italy. 

Venice - Day 2 - Evening Meal

After a buffet style breakfast at our lodges, we set off towards Venice City, ready for another day of exploration. Upon arrival, we were immediately taken aback by the beauty of the canals and the gentle Italian breeze drifting through the narrow streets. 

Throughout the morning, students began preparing for their media project. Some groups focused on capturing stunning photographs, while others recorded impressive video footage, using the city’s unique charm as their backdrop.

After capturing some amazing images of Venice’s canals and colourful streets, we took a well‑earned break at the Hard Rock Cafe. Students refueled with a classic spread of beef burgers, plant burgers, chicken burgers, chicken strips, fresh salad, and crispy fries. The perfect recharge before continuing their Venetian adventure.

After lunch, the students continued their creative work across the city. Some focused on capturing stunning photographs of Venice’s winding canals and historic architecture, while others recorded impressive video footage, making full use of the city’s vibrant atmosphere and beauty.

After a productive day exploring Venice City, we made our way back to Vela Blue Village for some much needed downtime. It was the perfect moment to unwind and relax before our evening meal.
