Pathways Blog - 9.5.25

CL Gen

This has been a busy week for ComLiv Gen! We have been busy making bracelets as well as designing bags in preparation for the summer fair. The class came up with their own designs and started creating them.

As part of our pathway sessions we have been taking part in different leisure activities. This week the students enjoyed playing some games, following a yoga video and also practiced their social skills with a game of snakes and ladders.

On Thursday ComLiv Gen visited the war memorial in Oldham town centre along with CL-Emp as part of our learning about VE Day. They walked there sensibly and were very respectful at the memorial.

CL Tech 1

The students of CLTech1 worked in celebration, marking the historic occasion of VE Day. Their faces glow with excitement and pride as they listen to stories of the past and listen to music from the era. Amidst the cheerful atmosphere, they reflect on the bravery and sacrifice of those who fought for freedom during World War II. Together, they honour the heroes of VE Day, recognising the importance of peace, unity, and the resilience of the human spirit. We held a minute's silence at twelve o clock to honour the brave.
