I hope this blog finds you safe and well, especially during another heatwave – our  3rd of year. The rise in heat does affect our site, our staff and our learners, but we are taking measures to ensure that ALL members and visitors of Pathways are safe.  

Over the weekend, please bear the following in mind if out in the sun: 

Seek shade between 11am-3pm 

Use high factor suncream  

Stay hydrated

To finish the week off, it is our Year 11 Prom this evening, and I am looking forward to celebrating pupils journey through New Bridge with them tonight. I’m sure there will be a special midweek blog showcasing the glitz and glamour of the evening!

CL4

CL4 have worked incredibly hard this year and have been an absolute pleasure to teach. Every learner has shown commitment, resilience and determination in their English lessons, and we are very proud to share that they have all passed the three components of their English exams. A huge well done to everyone in CL4 — you should all be very proud of your achievement!

This week in CL1, we have been working hard preparing for our Summer Market next week. Everyone has been busy helping to make items to sell and getting everything ready for what promises to be an exciting event. We are very proud of the effort, teamwork, and creativity that the class has shown. 

Alongside our preparations, we have continued enjoying our leisure topic. We had a fantastic visit to the library, where we explored different books and practiced our reading skills. Back in class, we have also enjoyed solving jigsaw puzzles, developing our problem-solving skills while having lots of fun together. 

It has been a busy and productive week, and we are all looking forward to sharing our hard work at the Summer Market next week! 🌞🎉
