Week 2 is at an end, and everyone seems to be back to work in full swing.

Our new students are beginning to settle and today one young lady bounced up to me in reception and said “Mrs Tootill – everything is ok “– alongside a hug huge smile.

This week we’ve begun a massive project on communication and how that works in our school. Communication is key – as it allows us to share with home, families, carers and anyone connected with our students – the successes and the needs of our wonderful young people. This is alongside our Facebook and Twitter blogs – which again – share the joys of what we see every day.

I’m sharing with you how to communication strategy and how this works for our families. I am aware that we have written to families and carers, but within our blog (which we know gets lots of hits).

Supporting Your Child at New Bridge School

At New Bridge School, we organise our learners into different pathways. This helps us make sure that every child receives the right level of support, challenge and opportunity to succeed.

Each pathway has a dedicated leadership team who work closely with staff, learners and families. This means there is always a clear point of contact for any questions, concerns or support you may need.
