Hi everyone

A belated, 'short and sweet' update from me this week...

It has been great to see our social media feeds full of learning this past week, not just from our Roman Road site, but across all four sites that come under the banner of New Bridge School.

That includes us here at Roman Road, Pathways, the Learning Centre and the College.

We might not all be 'under one roof', but one look at the Facebook shows learning of all kinds and a range of different opportunities.

One of my favourite things that I've spotted this week is some photography by some of our Year 7s.

Using their iPads, they have been taking square photographs... 

Then, using the adjustments, they have been altering the images by raising contrast and saturation levels.

As I'm sure you'll agree, this creates beautiful black and white images. Well done, 7LMN, the photographs are incredible, and well done to staff who supported this contemporary art project as well.

The week ahead (especially Monday) promises to be VERY HOT, so please prepare your child as best you can.

Think about sun cream, hats, loose fitting uniform and a water bottle.

We will, of course, be looking after them at school, but every little helps.

Not long now til the exciting conclusion to another academic year. It's going to be a lot of fun.
