Hi All
I’d like to start by saying a huge well done to all our Learning Centre students on an amazing start to the term.
To our year 12 students: It’s been great getting to know you all and watching you settle into learning Centre life so quickly, can’t wait for the journey we will make together.
To our year 13 & 14 students, massive thankyou for the way you have welcomed new students, shown care, compassion and friendship. I’m so very proud of you all.
A special mention to the Learning Centre staff team, who have enabled students to feel secure, thanks for giving up your time at social times to support students who may feel nervous, there is a great feel of warmth, friendliness and inclusion during activity times.
Finally, a heartfelt thankyou to our families who have been so supportive, working with us to help students settle in, also for your patience as we have worked through transport arrangement at the start and end of the day. Its much appreciated!
I’d like to remind families and carers that we are holding a MacMillan coffee morning on Thursday the 1st October between 10am & 12. A warm welcome, cuppa and cake await.
