NBLC Update & IB1 Sensory

This week I was delighted to be able to welcome visitors to the Learning Centre from the Local Authority along with Clare John, our CEO.

I spent time in each of the Entitlement classes observing what students were learning and the amazing work of our E-Base staff team. It’s a real privilege to watch the team support our students, manage their emotions and enable them to achieve. So very proud!

This week’s blog is by Mrs McNamara and her Interactive base class, who have been exploring their emotions, great work guys, love the colour monster!

This term, IB1 have been busy exploring their emotions by following the story of the Colour Monster.

We have explored various colours and shapes to help create numerous pieces of art, including our very own class Colour Monster. By using our 5 senses we have been identified our happy and sad feelings.

This week we have been busy getting ready for to send cards to those special people who care lots for us.

We hope everyone has a lovely Father’s day this Sunday from IB1!"

We are starting to turn our attention to our Leavers events, please can I ask Families to return their reply to slips for both the Record of Achievement Celebration & our Leavers Prom. I’ve got my frock ready!

I’m forever trying to be as informed as I can around the things that interest our students, I’ve even entered the sweep for the Euro’s. I’ll let you know who I draw!

Have a great weekend, everyone.
