New Bridge College Photography Students Shine at Manchester Open Exhibition at HOME
New Bridge College is incredibly proud to celebrate the outstanding achievement of Sam Rothwell and students from Photography Groups 1 and 2, whose creative work has been successfully selected for display at the prestigious Manchester Open Exhibition at HOME Manchester.
This is an exceptional accomplishment and one that deserves huge recognition. The Manchester Open Exhibition is one of the region’s most respected public art exhibitions, attracting submissions from photographers, artists, designers, and creatives from across Greater Manchester and beyond. Every two years, thousands of pieces are submitted, with only a carefully selected number chosen by professional judges and curators to be exhibited publicly at HOME — one of Manchester’s leading centres for contemporary art, theatre, film, and culture.
For our students to have their photography selected for such a highly competitive exhibition is a remarkable achievement and reflects not only their creativity, but also their confidence, dedication, technical ability, and personal artistic vision.
For many of the students involved, this is the very first time their work has been displayed within a major public gallery environment. Seeing their photography professionally exhibited at HOME is an experience they will remember for many years and is a huge confidence boost for their future creative journeys.
Being selected for a public exhibition of this scale is something many photographers and artists aspire to throughout their careers. To achieve this while studying at college is truly something special. The students should feel incredibly proud of themselves and the professionalism they demonstrated throughout the process.
Congratulations once again to all students involved in Photography Groups 1 and 2, and to Sam Rothwell, on this outstanding achievement. Everyone at New Bridge College is extremely proud of you all.
