Occupational Therapy
The Occupational Therapy team works with students to make the most of their potential ability in specific areas that will make young people as independent as possible in the skills needed for everyday life. The team works closely with Design Technology to develop fine and gross motor skills. Pupils follow individual programmes and ongoing assessment in using tools and equipment. Where necessary, the team will assess the need for special equipment to help with specialized seating, eating and drinking, using the toilet and in some instances, moving and handling.
