Manufacturing
In manufacturing students learn how to make items for either the home or the Learning Centre. They learn about natural wood, manufactured boards, using glue, screws and nails for fixing and joining. They learn the names of common woodworking tools and how they are used. Manufacturing is a practical area that builds confidence and independence as the students head towards adulthood and job opportunities within the wider world.
